FIVE THINGS WE LEARNED FROM FIDEL ODINGA'S BURIAL.

We all got clued to our television sets following albeit with sorrow the proceedings in Bondo. You may have been grief-stricken because of the pain you felt for the Odinga family or you were thrown into anguish by   the tragic death of conscience, consideration and maturity of  some of our leaders.

Which ever the case we all had lesions from the Bondo live broadcast.

KENYAN POLITICIANS HAVE NO SCRUPLES.
I would consider the utterances in  Bondo to be vile, abhorrent and obtuse. In fact   most of the statements were capable of   hurting if not meant to create enmity among good citizens of this country. Most of those spears who stood to address the mourners had little consideration for the grieving family but instead took political advantage of it.
I compared those politicians to a person who would queue behind a punch of rapist raping his mother and when it is his turn he rapes the mother mercilessly one for the lack of consciences.
Really where conscience when one is takes a microphone to insinuate that indeed someone had a hand in Fidel's death yet there is still investigations?

Were did conscience go when a leader stands to criticize the Government when indeed they are supposed to condole the bereaved family.

Where did ethics go when a fully grown up man insult a woman who was not able to conceive a pregnancy on National Tv?

THE  BONDO MOURNERS DID  PISS OFF THE NATION.
There is no doubt that social media yesterday was jammed by posts and tweets about the conduct of out mourning brothers  in Bondo. To be honest there were no kind posts or comments about their behavior. In fact one wondered if really it was necessary for them to heckle even if it is their way of showing grief .

I don’t know why Hon Raila had to tell one of the mourners to be a gentleman yet we know our brothers to be gentleman. May be “gentlemasness” sometimes has to be stripped and what remains is insolence, flippancy and fatuity. Let’s say that is how differently we are when mourning.

RAILA ODINGA IS A MATURE POLITICIAN.

Hon Raila Omolo Odinga is undoubtedly one of the  most mature leaders this County has ever had. Raila yesterday won many hearts from his address to the mourners. Although most of his critics had predicted that he would do his videndalwili that was not to happen for he surely took a Babas role, the Baba he has always been only that he seem to listen a lot to his advisers who yesterday looked like politicians in dippers.

KENYANS ARE NOT DIVINED ALONG TRIBAL LINES BUT THERE IS AN IMAGINARY LINE DIVIDING US.
You will agree with me that Fidel's demise brought out one very vital lesson that tribalism is cultivated by the politicians and thrives well when we are having elections. You will agree also with me that Fidel knew no boundaries, he knew no tribe for he had friends all over the world.
You will also agree with me that what divides us in not our tribes but our imaginations that our elected leaders have boundary lines when they meet in Parliament or even in social places. It is our frivolity that has divided us nothing else.

EVEN THE LEARNED CAN BEHAVE LIKE ILLITERATE VILLAGE DWELLERS.
"The poachers are out again, they Poached Senator Kilonzo my Father, poached Senator Otieno Kajwang and now they have poached Fidel "
I thought I was hearing my own things until I flipped to another channel when indeed it downed to me that education will never change our perceptions.
I had to move close to my TV to see who was speaking. What! Kethi Kilonzo!

, the learned fellow? that was not practical.
